The Fellowship will be based on academic success and Michigan State University volunteerism and/or community involvement and service. This scholarship is not based on financial need or athletic accomplishments.

Eligibility:
To be considered for the Joey M. Spano, Varsity ‘S’ Club Fellowship, you must
meet the following criteria:
- Be a MSU Varsity Letter Winner
- Be a member of the Varsity ‘S’ Club
- Have previously graduated from MSU with an overall GPA of 3.10 or higher in their undergraduate program
- Have been accepted or pending acceptance into a graduate program at Michigan State University
- Recipient must be enrolled in the semester in which they receive their funding
