The Alliance for Graduate Education and Professoriate (AGEP) provides funds and fellowship awards to increase the pool of candidates pursuing masters or doctoral degrees for postsecondary faculty teaching careers from underrepresented backgrounds. A featured experience for program fellows is the annual fall conference for networking, and academic career development.
We are excited to welcome you and your colleagues to participate in the 2019 Fall AGEP Student Success Conference November 22-23, 2019. The Saturday portion of the conference will be held in East Lansing, MI at the Kellogg Conference Center and Hotel. The Friday portion will be held at Chittenden Hall at MSU’s campus. All AGEP and KCP affiliated graduate students, post-docs, educators, alumni and professionals are welcome. Student affiliated with the McNair, MARC, GSEF, BUILD, Rise, LSAMP and SROP programs are welcome to attend.
We want the conference to be a cross-disciplinary experience, full of scientists, engineers, economists, policy makers and scholars of the arts. AGEP Student Success conference will have 1st, 2nd, and 3rd cash prizes for the best presenters (oral and poster) for the undergraduate and graduate student/post-doc divisions.
