The MSU Native American Institute is accepting applications for the 2022 Emma Shore-Thornton Endowment Fund. Award amounts typically range from $250 to $2000 contingent on the availability of funds and the number of applicants. Applications are due April 22 by 5:00 p.m.

Emma Shore-Thornton Endowment Fund (undergraduate and graduate students)

Through a generous donation from Ms. Emma Shore-Thornton, the Fund recognizes outstanding Native American undergraduate and graduate students at Michigan State University who are actively engaged in activities and/or career pathways that promote the recognition of American Indian and First Nations people at MSU or abroad. Since 1990, the program has been jointly administered by the Michigan State University Foundation and the Native American Institute to recognize the successes of Native American students at Michigan State University.
