Attention Graduate Teaching Assistants! Whether you are a new, international, or a returning Graduate Teaching Assistant, the Graduate Teaching Assistant Program (GTAP) offers sessions that will make you more effective in your teaching, understand policies and familiarize you with resources and professional development opportunities. The program will be delivered virtually with both synchronous and asynchronous components. All GTAs are strongly encouraged to attend and need to register before August 4th, 2021 to receive all materials and to be able to access all relevant modules on D2L: https://grad.msu.edu/tapreg
- All new GTAs (domestic and international, starting in the Fall Semester 2021 or Spring Semester 2022) should attend the New GTA Institute on August 19, 2021 and are also encouraged to attend the Pedagogy Workshops on August 20, 2021.
- All new International GTAs (starting in the Fall Semester 2021 or Spring Semester 2022) should also attend the International GTA Orientation on August 18, 2021 along with the other dates mentioned above.
- Any GTAs (new and returning) should consider attending the Pedagogy Workshops on August 20 which will include best practices in teaching, use of technology tools, and culturally relevant pedagogy among other topics.
