John Gagnon is a University Distinguished Fellow in the Department of Writing, Rhetoric and American Cultures. His primary research interest surrounds rhetoric and human trafficking. He is also interested in the use of storytelling by victims as a coping and recovery mechanism. His previous career working with the government led to his interest in this research topic.
