Daniel Brickley was interviewed during his first year at MSU, where he is studying restoration ecology. He is specifically focuses on the consequences of habitat fragmentation. Prior to coming to MSU he studied biology and environmental studies at the University of Pennsylvania, as well as working on government projects and research initiatives. He worked in Alaska for the Bureau of Land Management and studied climate change effects in Mongolia.
