July 21 – August 25: Introduction to Molecular Modeling Concepts for Polymers, an asynchronous online course teaching how industry-leading computational molecular modeling tools are used to aid in polymer discovery and design. Discounted registration for Students & Postdocs. JULY 14 REGISTRATION DEADLINE.
Online Course: Cybersecurity and Healthcare Sector, a 2 hour-long asynchronous course that examines the pervasive threats of cybersecurity against academic institutions and healthcare organizations conducting research using patient data, privacy as well as impact on patient care devices. The course aims to provide participants with the knowledge and skills to be able to translate risk awareness into improved cybersecurity practice.

Self-assembling nanomaterials, studying bats to learn about neuroecology, exploring a new class of RNA, and creating miniaturized radiation sources: the Israel recipients of the 2020 and 2021 Blavatnik Awards for Young Scientists are bringing the future to your doorstep at this half-day, multidisciplinary symposium. August 11: Cultivating STEM Identity: Join the Academy and Hudson River Park as we hear from a diverse panel of STEM experts on how their STEM Identity evolved to help them successfully navigate the STEM ecosystem. The panelists will discuss some of the many opportunities available for students interested in STEM careers and the importance of leveraging their personal and professional identity to drive innovation in STEM and the society at large. Free to all.

August 6: Pulmonary Hypertension: Beyond Vasodilators, an online symposium on October 12, 2021 focusing on novel transformative treatment strategies for pulmonary hypertension, looking beyond vasodilators.
September 3: Covalent Modification: Chemical Biology and Therapeutic Applications, an online symposium on November 9, 2021 convening academic and industry scientists from the fields of medicinal chemistry, chemical biology, proteomics and pharmacology to discuss the latest research in the design of covalent libraries and new warheads.
