Thank an Educator is a peer/community initiative so anyone can visit the #iteachmsu Commons and submit a colleague or high-impact educator (faculty, TAs, ULAs, instructional designers, academic advisors, et al.) with a short gratitude message.

What happens when you are thanked

Those who were thanked will receive acknowledgement via email. There is also an option for people to give permission to share their thanks publicly or not. Some people who are thanked and give permission to share their thanks publicly can be featured in different MSU assets. These include educator stories on #iteachmsu and a monthly feature in the Office of Faculty and Academic Staff Development newsletter.

Annually, the recipients of Thank an Educator receive an official certificate from the MSU provost.
