Graduate Students

This survey was developed by COGS representatives to assess the degree of safety practices in the day-to-day work of MSU researchers. We aim to evaluate the graduate student perception of research-related safety across 37+ departments to inform continued success in student health, wellness, and wellbeing. This survey applies to graduate students doing research in laboratories, operating heavy machinery, and/or working with chemicals and solvents as a part of their degree program.

All responses will be anonymous, with no email addresses collected as a part of this survey. The collected data will be used by COGS representatives and a team of MSU faculty/staff/graduate student stakeholders who have an interest in ensuring best safety practices. This data will be used to identify graduate student safety experiences and determining options for ensuring student success through safe practices. The survey will be open for responses until May 31st.
