Graduate Students
The MSU Center for Community and Economic Development is seeking qualified student applicants (graduate or undergraduate) to assist with the development of a programmatic guidebook (manual) that supports practitioners, organizations, and communities to implement more equitable community and economic development initiatives.

Research Assistant’s Responsibilities
- Review and summary of relevant research and materials
- Survey and interview tool development
- Data collection
- Manual layout and design
- Manual review and publication
- Development of corresponding video resources
- Manual marketing and dissemination
Qualifications
The CCED is looking for creative, cutting-edge thinkers and doers with excellent research, writing and graphic design skills. Students from the social sciences, urban planning, community/economic development, community sustainability, business, and nonprofit development are encouraged to apply. Candidates must have good time management and organization skills and should be available for virtual and in-person meetings as well as capable of self-directed activities.
