The MSU Center for Community and Economic Development is seeking qualified student applicants (graduate or undergraduate) to assist with the development of equity assessment tools which will help practitioners, organizations, and communities understand their movement towards equitable community development and equitable economic development.

Research Assistant’s Responsibilities

Implementation on project steps:

  1. Review and summary of relevant research
  2. Tool Development
  3. Field Test Equity Assessment Tools
  4. Revise Tools as needed based on Field Test
  5. Publish tools

Qualifications

The CCED is looking for, creative, cutting-edge thinkers and doers with excellent research and writing skills. Students from the social sciences, urban planning, community/economic development, community sustainability, business, finance, are encouraged to apply. Candidates must have good time management and organization skills and should be available for virtual team meetings.
