Strategies to Become a Productive Writer (Spring Break)

Sign up for FW 893: Strategies to Become a Productive Writer and finish your thesis, dissertation, manuscript, or proposal!

This 1-credit class meets daily over Spring Break (March 4-8, 2019) from 9am to 4pm, and is intended for graduate students in any discipline wishing to improve their writing productivity. Each student is expected to have one writing project they are working on -it can be a thesis, dissertation chapter, manuscript, grant proposal, or a prospectus/thesis proposal. The seminar is intended for writing and not doing literature searches or data analysis: come prepared and ready to write. We will meet in the same cozy, writing-friendly location each day and the day will be divided into manageable blocks of time for independent writing, lectures, and discussions. Lecture topics are aimed to help students develop effective writing and time management strategies that will help them be successful in graduate school and beyond.
