Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation launches Scholarship competition

The Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation announces the opening of applications for the 2019 scholarship competition. The competition is open to Canadian citizens who are doctoral students already accepted into or in year one, two, or three of a full-time program in the humanities or social sciences whose work relates to one of the Foundations’ four themes:

  • Human Rights and Dignity;
  • Responsible Citizenship;
  • Canada and the World; and
  • People and their Natural Environment

The program lasts for three years and provides generous support for scholars’ doctoral work in the form of a stipend and a research and travel allowance.  All nominations must come from the institution.  If you are interested in applying, please contact Dr. Judith Stoddart, Senior Associate Dean in the Graduate School (stoddart@msu.edu) well in advance of the application deadline.
