Graduate Students
The PEER: Promoting Education & Emotional Resilience is open for registration. The PEER Program was designed for students with mental health conditions in mind and seeks to empower students to learn about their mental health, develop positive coping skills, and successfully maneuver barriers they face. This 6-week workshop will help students develop resiliency skills utilizing techniques derived from evidenced based practices such as CBT, DBT, ACT, Mindfulness and Resiliency training in collaboration with the Resource Center for Persons with Disabilities (RCPD) and Counseling And Psychiatric Services (CAPS). PEER participants will also have a dedicated practical application support group for additional discussion and community building. Participants are expected to commit to all six weeks of the program.
