One Health Week Offers Opportunity to Share Research

One Health is an interdisciplinary approach to tackling global health problems facing people, animals, and the environment. MSU’s Canadian Studies Center and departments across campus are hosting a “One Health Week” to promote the understanding and practice of One Health.

On Friday morning, November 2, 2018, faculty and students (undergraduate and graduate) from all colleges are invited to share posters of their research. The posters can vary in size but can be no larger than 40 x 32”. You are welcome to bring a poster which was presented at a previous conference. We are looking for class or research projects related to human health, animal health, and environmental health from near and far. The event will take place at the International Center and coincide with a keynote address from Dr. Mahesh Kumar, Senior Vice President and Executive Director for Global Biologics Research at Zoetis, a global animal health company.

Please fill out the form at the link below to register your poster for the event. Poster set-up starts at 8am and the event starts at 9am. There will be pancakes! Even if you do not have a poster, please register for the event. This is a great place to meet like-minded people on campus all with the goal to make this planet healthier!
