NBAF Scientist Training program (NSTP)

The USDA Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) is pleased to announce a competitive fellowship program for graduate students interested in pursuing a career with the APHIS National Veterinary Services Laboratories (NVSL) Foreign Animal Disease Diagnostic Laboratory (FADDL) at the new National Bio and Agro-Defense Facility (NBAF) in Manhattan, Kansas. This graduate training program, the NBAF Scientist Training program (NSTP), is a key part of a larger APHIS workforce development effort to identify the next generation of scientists to support both the existing FADDL mission at Plum Island, as well as the expanded FADDL objectives at NBAF. Application packets need to be submitted by MSU. Applications for Fall 2021 enrollment in NSTP are due June 1, 2021.
