Graduate Students
The MSU Student Food Bank is a resource available to students and scholars who may be experiencing food insecurity. The Food Bank provides free food and other essential items to those in need within our MSU community.
How to Know If a Student or Scholar Is Food Insecure
Students and scholars often wonder if they qualify for assistance from the Food Bank. Here are some questions to consider:
- Have you worried that your food would run out before you had money to buy more?
- Have you cut the size of your meals or skipped meals because there wasn’t enough money for food?
- Have you been unable to afford a balanced meal?
- Have you had to choose between buying food and paying for other essentials like rent or medicine?
If the answer was "yes" to any of these questions, you may be experiencing food insecurity and should consider utilizing the Food Bank’s services.
