Recruiters from graduate programs are invited to attend the graduate recruitment fair at the Mid-Michigan Symposium for Undergraduate Research Experiences (Mid-SURE), held on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. at the STEM Teaching and Learning Facility. 

Mid-SURE is an opportunity for undergraduates involved in research and creative activities to share their work with their peers, faculty, and external audiences. Last year, nearly 400 undergraduates from MSU and other institutions presented their faculty-mentored research in areas including: agriculture and animal science, biological sciences, engineering, environmental science, health sciences, physical sciences, and the social and behavioral sciences. Approximately one-third of the student participants are from under-represented minority populations. The students are working with MSU faculty members on a 10-12 week undergraduate research experience.

The recruitment fair will run concurrently with Mid-SURE presentations. The $150 registration fee ($75 for MSU departments) includes:

• lunch for up to two recruiters
• a 5-foot table and two chairs
• validated parking
• contact information for student participants who wish to hear from graduate recruiters

There is a $30 charge for additional recruiters.
