Making the Transition from Grad Student to Postdoc in Education ResearchDBER-SiT, a community of Discipline-Based Education Research (DBER) Scholars-in-Training, has an exciting new event just for you!

"Making the Transition from Grad Student to Postdoc in Education Research" is a virtual event on Friday, February 5 that will provide a space for graduate students to learn more about how to take the next steps towards a career in this field and network with postdocs and other professionals currently working in DBER.

The event features two parts: a large panel discussion with DBER faculty and small break-out sessions with current DBER postdocs.

1. The professional panel discussion with postdoc recruiters and people with careers beyond a DBER postdoc will answer your questions about how to best represent yourself in your job applications.

2. The small group discussions (via breakout rooms) will allow graduate students and postdocs to have productive in-depth conversations about the many routes available for a career in DBER.

Graduate students and postdocs from a variety of academic backgrounds and career interests are invited to participate. Here is the link: https://dbersit.weebly.com/making-the-transition.html
