International students are encouraged to write and submit essays for the International Student Essay Contest. 

The contest is open to international students, both graduate and undergraduate. The deadline to submit an essay is Monday, October 29th at 5pm. 

OISS typically receive over 100 essays each year and look forward to reading the submissions. Winners receive $1,000 for first prize, $500 for second prize, and $250 for third prize!
