Hourly Graduate Student Position Available

The College of Agriculture and Natural Resources is looking to hire a Graduate Student. The Graduate Student is responsible for assisting with education abroad programming and activities for both in- and out-bound students for the CANR. Application deadline is February 1, 2019 at 5PM.

Employee reports to the CANR Director of Education Abroad (DEA). The employee will be responsible for assisting with education abroad programming and activities for both in- and out-bound students for the CANR.

Position responsibilities include:

Assist with the design and delivery of on-campus summer programs for visiting international students and scholars--including coordination of program logistics, scheduling of activities and guest speakers, and providing classroom instruction on selected topics.

Support the promotion of education abroad programs and the recruitment of students for these programs—including assisting with and attending the Education Abroad Expo, CANR AutumnFest and other relevant events.

Assist with developing and updating web content, on both the MSU Education Abroad and CANR websites, in coordination with OEA Communications and CANR Communications and Marketing.

Assist with review of in-bound American Semester Program applications to determine eligibility for MSU coursework. Create class schedules for students approved by the Director.

Engage in curriculum integration initiatives at the college and department levels, as deemed appropriate by the Director.

Compile statistics and reports on education abroad activities in CANR departments and at the college level.
