Graduate Students
This fellowship will provide a graduate student the opportunity to gain writing experience in the psychiatric health field. The student will work closely with an experienced psychiatric nurse practitioner who is educating the next generation of psychiatric nurse practitioners and conducting research in the field of psychiatric healthcare. Their program of research focuses on providing sustainable psychiatric care for underserved adults within the context of interdisciplinary teams and optimizing technology. This focus is part of our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the College of Nursing. This fellowship will include reviewing the literature, writing manuscript outlines, working closely with the supervisor on different sections of manuscripts, reviewing critiques, and other publication-related activities as designated by the supervisor. Dr. Dawn Goldstein will supervise the graduate student. This fellowship, which can be done remotely, involves a commitment to work 10 hours per week with the College of Nursing faculty.
Eligibility
- MSU graduate student in good standing who will be enrolled in the Fall of 2024 and Spring of 2025.

Graduate student with prior writing experience interested in learning about and continuing to grow their understanding and skillsets in writing in the health field sector.

The deadline for submission is September 6, 2024.
Your submitted information will be reviewed by the nurse scientist supervising this position and potentially other faculty and team members. We may also ask for letters of recommendation.
Funding of the Award
The award amount for September 15, 2024, to May 15, 2025, is $12,000.
