The Grand Rapids Community Foundation Scholarships provides scholarships to graduate-level students residing in Kent County. Applications are completed online due March 1.

Dorothy J. Thurston Graduate Scholarship - Student is a Kent Count resident (2 year minimum) pursuing full or part-time study at any accredited school in Michigan. Must have financial need and a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Guy D. & Mary Edith Halladay Graduate Scholarship - Student is a Kent County resident (2 year minimum) and a graduate level student. Must have financial need and a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Generally scholarships range from $1,500 - $3,000.  Awards are announced in May and paid to the college in late June.

The scholarship is a one-time award.  Recipients may re-apply each year.
