The annual Graduate Student Welcoming and Resource Fair is meant to provide new and returning students with an opportunity to learn about the many offices and student organizations at MSU, as well as to ask any questions they have regarding student life on campus. Vendors will include MSU Human Resources, Student Health and Wellness Services, the Graduate Employees Union, PhD Career Services, MSU BEST, and many, many more.
The event begins with a Welcome from Dean Jeitschko on the 3rd Floor of the MSU Union at 10:00 AM.
From 10:15 until Noon, there is a Resouce Fair with over 40 groups attending.
There are also three mini-workshops (20 minutes each) that will be offered on the third floor of the Union. Workshops will begin at 10:25, 10:50 and 11:15.
Workshop topics are:
- Courageous Wellbeing: What Resilient and Happy Graduate Students Know
- Career Planning
- Setting Expectations

Parking can be found around the Union (metered) or in MSU’s Ramp 6, which has access from Grand River Avenue or East Circle Drive. Ramp 6 is free on the weekends.
