Join the Global Talent Accelerator (GTA) Program at Michigan State University!
In the MSU GTA you will:
- Learn skills from the experts on how to promote yourself with employers in the U.S. job market
- Get coaching from professionals in your field
- Attend events and workshops especially tailored to improve your chances of employment
- Receive ongoing coaching, support and connections with employers post-graduation by the Global Detroit Staff
- Earn a $500 Financial Award for completing the full program
The Global Talent Accelerator is a FREE program designed to help international students gain the skills they need to secure employment. Over 80% of our participants have been able to find a job! GTA focuses on enhancing the skills and ability to network needed to successfully enter the US workforce.
Eligible students should be in their final year of graduate studies, graduating December 2024 at the earliest, and be eligible for OPT/CPT.
Students must be able to commit to attending 3+ hour sessions and events held every Friday for four weeks, as well as travel to the Detroit area for two of the sessions. The first session is on Friday, May 31st and the final session and Graduation is Friday, June 21st. All Sessions will be conducted in-person. Times will vary but most sessions are between 9 a.m. - noon.

June 14: East Lansing
June 21: Detroit
We will be accepting a maximum of 25 students and will prioritize early applicants. Applications close on May 3.
