GA position in the College of Veterinary Medicine

Michigan State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking a 50% time graduate assistant (Teaching Exclusion) to provide support to the college’s curriculum reinvention (https://cvm.msu.edu/news/perspectives-magazine/perspectives-spring-17/cu...). The graduate assistant will report to the Associate Dean of Academic Programs and Student Affairs,  will work with the Curriculum Reinvention Steering Committee, and support working groups, in gathering data and conducting analyses to support the design of the DVM curriculum.

Qualifications:  A bachelor's degree in education, education technology, education psychology, or related fields; one year of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in faculty development, project management, program evaluation, or education; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 

Current enrollment in a Masters or Doctoral degree program in related fields; excellent communication skills; ability to work well in a team environment.  Demonstrated ability for excellent time management. 

Desirable skills include experience in curriculum development, program evaluation and/or evaluation of educational program costs. 

This is a 50% time position for 1 academic year (2016-2017).  Stipend support will be in accordance with MSU guidelines.  Tuition and health care support is included.
