Fall Welcome Scavenger Hunt

ATTENTION:

Graduate Students

Now through August 30, incoming graduate students are invited to participate a Fall Welcome Scavenger Hunt sponsored by the MSU Graduate School and the Council of Graduate Students!

Participants will explore Michigan State University's campus while searching for key landmarks and locations. Complete the checklist for a chance to win some swag and prizes from the MSU Graduate School. Participants must be enrolled for the upcoming semester.

Event Details

Timeline

Students can participate throughout August, with the submission deadline on Friday, August 30. This process does not need to be completed in one session.

Organization

This scavenger hunt can be completed by individuals or groups (a limit of six people per group). Groups will need to provide the following information:

  • The group name
  • The names of everyone in the group
  • A contact for the group

Remote students are encouraged to participate and there are remote-friendly scavenger hunt items.

Prizes/Winning

  • There will be 3 grand prize winners for the most complete forms. If there are 3 or more completed forms, there will be a drawing of 3 winners from the pool.

  • There will also be 6 prize winners drawn at random from all submitted forms, even if they are incomplete. These prizes will be drawn at random for 5 individual submissions and 1 group submission.
