Faculty-to-Faculty Mentoring Dialogues

Please consider part in Faculty-to-Faculty (f2f) Mentoring Dialogues. These dialogues will help faculty from under-represented groups (URG) strengthen their mentoring of other faculty in STEM fields through discussion and sharing of best practices across disciplinary and institutional lines. The module content reflects the National Research Mentoring Network (NRMN) Entering Mentoring training.

Topics covered include:

  • Maintaining Effective Communication;
  • Aligning Expectations;
  • Assessing Understanding;
  • Addressing Equity and Inclusion;
  • Fostering Independence; and
  • Promoting Professional Development.

The training attends to the importance of intercultural competency in faculty mentorship.

Available Dates:

  • October 7-8, 2021 (Wed, Thurs), 9 AM – 1 PM EST
  • January 6-7, 2022 (Thurs, Fri), 9 AM – 1 PM EST
  • May 17-18, 2022 (Tues, Wed), 9 AM – 1 PM EST
  • August 17-18, 2022 (Wed, Thurs) 9 AM – 1 PM EST
