The Environmental Science and Policy Program (ESPP) annually offers multiple doctoral recruiting fellowships for students who will matriculate in the next fall semester. The goal of these one-year fellowships is to attract the strongest possible cohort of students to pursue a doctoral education focused on the environment.
ESPP offers one-year fellowships to exceptional incoming doctoral students who are interested in environmental science and policy. The fellowship support includes a quarter-time RA support, full tuition for two semesters, health insurance and a stipend of approximately $25,000. In return, the fellows agree to complete the five requirements for the Environmental Science and Policy Specialization outlined here: https://environment.msu.edu/specialization/index.php.
As a new incentive to attract strong candidates, ESPP is now offering $400 for nominated students to travel to MSU and meet with ESPP faculty, students and staff.
