As Fall Semester 2022 degree clearance starts, the Office of the Registrar’s degree audit team is pleased to share a degree clearance guide to assist you along the way. The team is also hosting a drop-in session via Zoom to answer questions and go through the process with anyone who wishes to join.

The degree clearance guidance document is a condensed guide for personnel involved in the degree clearance process in their department or college and is accessible on the SIS training website. The guide is intended to:

• Provide definitions of approval and grade codes.
• Help diagnose issues with degrees not clearing.

• Give step-by-step instructions for degree clearing actions.

Join the degree audit/clearance team on Friday, Dec. 9 from 10:30 a.m. to noon for a drop-in session via Zoom. During this session, the team will go over updates, review definitions and usages of approval codes, and answer any questions you may have. Meeting details below.
