Saturday will mark the 17th consecutive offering of Darwin Discovery Day (DDD), MSU’s annual observance of Charles Darwin’s birthday and a community-wide celebration of the contributions of natural science collections-based research to understanding life on Earth. The event is a tradition for many of our more than 100 MSU undergraduate and graduate student volunteers, some of whom return to campus as alumni to participate. Darwin Discovery Day attracts over 500 visitors from campus, the greater Lansing area, and across mid-Michigan. Visitors to this virtual event can interact live with MSU scientists. Chose from a variety of stations, including entomology, ornithology, vertebrate and inertebrate palenotology and more!
