Much of CIRTL's synchronous programming has already been fully enrolled for this semester. But did you know that CIRTL's massive open online course, or MOOC, will be open to registrants throughout the semester? 

This spring, an updated version of CIRTL's second of two MOOCs, "Advancing Learning Through Evidence-Based STEM Teaching," is being offered. This course is designed to provide graduate students, postdoctoral scholars, and other aspiring faculty in STEM disciplines with an overview of effective college teaching strategies and the research that supports them.

Not only can you join the MOOC for any or all of its modules, the course materials are available to those interested in creating a MOOC-centered learning community (MCLC) at their home institution. Sign up to facilitate an MCLC here.
