Graduate Students
Background
This fellowship will provide a graduate nursing student the opportunity to gain experience using investigative strategies to improve the well-being of nurses. Fellows will have the opportunity to investigate various aspects related to nurses' well-being, such as stress management, work-life balance, burnout prevention, self-care strategies, resilience-building, and the impact of organizational culture on nurses' health. The responsibilities in this fellowship will include assisting with literature reviews, preparing for studies, recruiting, collecting data, delivering an intervention, entering and analyzing data, and preparing and disseminating study findings.
The graduate student will be supervised by Dr. Jackie Iseler. This fellowship involves a commitment to work 10 hours per week with the College of Nursing faculty and undergraduate students.
Eligibility
1. MSU graduate student in good standing who will be enrolled in the Fall of 2023 and Spring of 2024.
2. Graduate student, preferably in a health-related program.

Funding of the Award
The award amount for the Academic Year from August 15, 2023 to May 15, 2024, is $12,500.
