Application Process Open: WOCI Graduate Student Womxn of Color Writing Retreat

The Womxn of Color Initiatives (WOCI) at Michigan State University is pleased to announce a 3-day, 2-night writing retreat intended to advance 1) dissertation/degree completion amongst womxn of color graduate students and 2) dissertation/degree completion amongst graduate students whose scholarship aligns with the overall mission and purpose of WOCI, which is to support and uplift the presence of womxn of color within the academy.

The retreat will be held on January 14th through January 16th. Space is limited, so we must solicit applications. Please complete this form no later than Friday, December 3rd, 2021 at 7 pm est. We cannot accept late applications.

As a note, the review committee will prioritize students who are 1) already writing their dissertation and 2) whose advisors confirm that they are within one year of completion. The review committee will also strive to ensure disciplinary/college diversity.
