The Apple Manufacturing Academy team and MSU’s Center for Teaching and Learning Innovation (CTLI) present the 2025 Teaching Innovation Grant, an exciting funding opportunity for MSU educators to collaborate with Apple engineers and design hands-on, industry-connected learning experiences in advanced manufacturing.

This grant provides a $6,000 award, transferred to an expendable restricted account within the recipient’s academic unit. The funding supports a semester-long engagement with the Apple Manufacturing Academy, which includes:

• In-person workshops held in February, March, and April of Spring 2026 at the Academy’s Detroit location
• One-on-one consultations with Apple Manufacturing Academy participants following the workshop series
• Coverage for MSU faculty effort in developing in-person and online workshop components, consultation hours, and approved operational expenses (e.g., mileage, lodging, instructional materials)

Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis after December 9.
