After growing up in Alaska, Megan moved across the country to attend undergrad at Yale. She returned to Alaska to work in politics immediately after graduation. From there she moved on to work in Washington, DC, where her experiences working in law led to her current research involving work/life balance, how it impacts productivity and how it impacts individuals’ enjoyment of their work. She says her research is timely, as employees are feeling pressure to work harder and to work longer hours during economic downturns. Megan moved to California in December, 2011 in order to work for Google on their employee survey team.
