Julie Sinclair was interviewed while completing her PhD in the Higher, Adult, and Lifelong Education (HALE) program at Michigan State University. She was a University Distinguished Fellow. The fact that the HALE program was structured with individuals with working experience appealed to her. She researched how international experiences are becoming an increasing component of graduate professional education programs. Prior to starting her PhD program, Julie received a BA in German and an MA in public administration. She then worked in higher education.
