Jaylan Jones is a University Distinguished Fellow at Michigan State University. He is studying applied mathmatics and physics. He
chose his area of research because of its practical applications in the world through use with fuel cell technology and other applications.
He hopes his research with polymers will lead to a better understanding of biological, physical, and material sciences.
Jaylan is studying under the direction of Andrew Christlieb, PhD, in mathematics, and Phillip Duxbury, PhD, in physics. Prior to coming to MSU, Jaylan received a BA from Brigham Young University in math and chemistry.
