This week, the Graduate School is recognizing the contributions of graduate and professional students throughout the Michigan State University community. You have worked hard and overcome challenges. Your efforts deserve to be celebrated.

In recognition of your achievements, we’re holding a series of events from Monday, April 1 through Friday, April 5. I hope that you’re able to join us for some of these events, and I hope that you can relax and recharge as we make our way into the Spring season.

Meet & Greets with MSU Leadership

To celebrate Graduate & Professional Student Appreciation Week, President Kevin Guskiewicz, Interim Provost Thomas Jeitschko and Dean of the Graduate School Pero Dagbovie will be visiting campus locations to meet and mingle with graduate and professional students over snacks. Join them for food, giveaways and more.

The GTA TLC started with a virtual cup of tea in 2020. Join fellow GTAs for a real cup of tea or coffee, cookies and goodies, and conversation in the Commons. Don’t forget to pick up some swag. You will also have the opportunity to make some appreciation cards for fellow Graduate Students.

Cookies and Careers

Date/Time: Wednesday, April 3 from noon to 2 p.m.

Location: 113 Student Services Building

Stop by Student Services Building room 113 from 12 to 2 p.m. to take a professional headshot, get feedback on your resume or cover letter, chat about career goals, and discuss any other career-oriented topics on your mind. Cookies and swag will be available as well.

No RSVP required. This is a drop-in event.
