Take a Break DescriptionAttention Graduate Students and Faculty/Staff

The Graduate School has planned short (around 15 minutes) activities to give you a break from the stress of Finals Week. Please join us via Zoom to Take A Break! No registration necessary. All activities are at 11AM. Below we suggest some supplies need to participate in the breaks. Even if you don’t have the supplies, please join us.

Chair Yoga led by Dr. Stefanie Baier

 

Tuesday, December 15

Knot Tying led by Dr. Bethany Laursen

** Please bring two pieces of rope, roughly 18 inches in length, to the break. A shoelace or something thicker will work.

 

Wednesday, December 16

Origami – Making Paper Cranes led by Dr. Meg Moore

** Any square sheet of paper will work for this activity.

 

Thursday, December 17

Nun-chuck Demonstration led by Greg Teachout

** There are many DIY websites which give directions on how to make nun-chucks out of pool noodles, water bottles, etc. You are welcome to join regardless if you have nun-chucks or not.
