Dr. Marsha Matyas of the American Physiological Society (APS) is an expert on the responsible conduct of research. She is a widely sought speaker and educator various issues facing scientists and engineers working in life sciences and related fields. In this session, she will share best practices in publication ethics for life scientists and biomedical engineers who publish research papers. This will help students and faculty to recognize what constitutes overlapping publication and when it is appropriate, and create a plan for training future students about overlapping publications.

Registration is required. Registration period is 2/12 - 2/26/19, or until full.
