GTAs have multiple roles and responsibilities during their graduate studies. Navigating the intricacies related to those several roles can be challenging at times. In this session, we will share how they can set expectations and clarify responsibilities early on, communicate boundaries, and cultivate assertive communication with their advisors and instructors of record. Participants will walk away with strategies they can implement immediately for a successful semester.
