How to Use Backward Design for Successful Learning & Classroom Teaching

Date:
Wednesday, January 4, 2023 - 11:00am to 12:15pm
Location:
Onine

Teaching and learning depend on very intentional planning with outcomes in mind that are assessable. Based on this, we need to plan our learning activities. In this session we will focus on creating learner-centered lessons, recitation, or lab session plans. Participants will walk away with a clear comprehension of the backward design as the backbone of all successful instruction. They will have the opportunity to design a mini lesson to implement the concept for future use.

Facilitator: Seth Hunt, Doctoral Candidate in Plant Biology & GTA in the Biological Sciences Program

A zoom link will be shared with registrants prior to the date of the workshop.
