Creating a Digital Presence and Portfolio for Your Community-Engaged Work

Date:
Friday, February 28, 2020 - 1:00pm to 3:30pm
Location:
Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center, Room 62
In this workshop, we'll first talk about the ways in which community-engaged scholars situate their professional work in spaces like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. We'll then move into reviewing and discussing the digital portfolios of community-engaged scholars. All participants will leave with a work plan and ideas for creating and publishing their own digital portfolios—with a set of approaches to put into practice, and resources for further brainstorming and refining their materials. We will also discuss opportunities at MSU to get further involved in other digital presence professional development.

Participants should bring their own laptops.
