Communication in STEM: How to Engage Your Audience

This workshop will introduce strategies for engaging audiences of any type through effective verbal and nonverbal communication and provide opportunities to practice the strategies through hands-on experiences designed to support your growth as a speaker no matter your level of expertise. Whether you hope to learn best practices for improving your communication skills, or are interested in refining your skills, this workshop is for you. Even though this workshop targets STEM students, non-STEM students are also welcomed.

When registering, please include the degree you are pursuing (PhD, Master's, Visiting Scholar, Professional Students) and the number of years in your program in the Comments field.

This workshop is also being offered on March 14, Thursday, 6-8 pm and March 20, Wednesday, 6-8 pm. Please only register for one of these sessions.
