Did you know the average employer spends about 30 seconds looking at a resume the first-time through?

Are you new to resume writing?  What is a cover letter?  I have a CV, can't I just submit that?

The goal of this workshop is to answer all these questions and more.  We will cover what you should know about yourself and your prospective employer and analyze examples of good and bad resumes & cover letters.  The ultimate goal is to teach you some new methods for catching that prospective employer's eye regardless if you are going on the academic or non-academic track.
