The MSU Peace Corps Recruitment Office (PCRO) is seeking applicants for two quarter (¼) time (average of 10 hours per week) strategic recruiter positions. One position is available as a graduate assistant appointment; the second opening is an hourly appointment. The position will continue, based on performance, for the academic year 2026-27. Applicants must be both a current MSU graduate student and a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer (RPCV).
Duties include: recruitment and guidance of Peace Corps applicants; event planning; oversight of databases for leads, applicants, and RPCVs; presentations to student groups, classes, and career fairs; weekly office hours (flexible); creation of monthly reports and yearly recruitment plan; and monthly meetings with the National Strategic Recruiter Team. Evening and weekend hours will occasionally be necessary.
Successful candidates must have outstanding organizational, communication, and presentation skills, as well as a desire to share their Peace Corps experiences to promote the program to potential applicants.
