RECR: Research and Scholarship Security

Research and scholarship security education is crucial for protecting federally funded research activities from misappropriation of research to the detriment of national or economic security, violations of research integrity, and undue foreign influence in research. 

It is required by various federal agencies to ensure that individuals are knowledgeable about recognizing and managing risks associated with international collaborations and foreign influence. 

The workshop will cover topics including cybersecurity, international collaboration, foreign interference, and the proper use of funds, disclosure, and handling conflicts of commitment.
