A view from out of a brick building's archway.

This interactive workshop is designed for graduate students who identify as or aspire to be interdisciplinary scholars, educators, and/or collaborators. It is a collaboration between CIRCLE and the Center for Teaching and Learning Innovation.

Participants will spend time identifying their own interdisciplinary skillset, discussing interdisciplinary career trajectories with MSU faculty, and developing a personal plan for framing and articulating their own interdisciplinary goals and activities.

There will also be time for a facilitated Q and A where participants can get personal advice about framing their own interdisciplinary work as they prepare for the job market.

Coffee and light snacks will be provided. Participants are welcome to bring a brown bag lunch.

This workshop is suggested for anyone interested in applying for the 2026-27 CIRCLE grad fellowship and the CIRCLE graduate affiliates program.
