Are you wondering how we as instructors can better facilitate class discussions and thus engage students with course material?

Through this interactive workshop participants will discuss:

  1. the various types of questions instructors may use in classes to achieve various learning objectives
  2. the characteristics of "interpretive questions"
  3. how to develop interpretive questions to facilitate discussion in your classrooms

The workshop is appropriate for graduate students, postdocs, staff and faculty.

Facilitator: Dr. Rique Campa
